John Butterfield SR Para, Dip IMC RCS Ed
Managing Director
John is Managing Director of Emergency Response Services Ltd. He is a very experienced and highly qualified Paramedic with significant experience of providing medical and rescue services in extremely remote environments (including jungle and various deserts, from Botswana to the Mohave, Borneo to Belize).
He has an extensive background in rescue, medical and search and recovery arenas (including in underwater environments).

Craig Wood RGN Cert-Ed
Operations Director
Craig has worked as a nurse within Accident and Emergency in various locations over the last 12 years rising to his most recent position of Clinical Nurse Manager. He has a wide skill base, from working independently as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner dealing with minor injury and illness, to leading a team undertaking major resuscitation cases.
Craig brings a clinical focus to the company, being responsible for delivery of quality standards, clinical governance and audit.

Mark Rattigan SR Para
Clinical Director
Mark has over 20 years experience working for West Yorkshire and Avon Ambulance Services. His primary role is in clinical assessment and he also holds an IHCD driving assessors qualification.
Mark provides ERS with an insight into the high standards demanded by the national ambulance services. He is currently working on our in house field based assessment programme to ensure that our standards of clinical governance are maintained.

Edward Veness
Finance Director
Edward is very experienced in the operational aspects of the business having spent over 22 years in the military specialising in Nuclear Biological & Chemical Defence. He served with the Nuclear Accident Response Organisation (NARO) providing Health Control and Monitoring Force (HCMF) training on a tri-service basis and to the emergency services and personnel from the Atomic Weapons Establishment Aldermaston (AWE). This training encompassed health issues and disaster response when dealing with a CBRN incident.
